Emmanuel Jal to perform at 2019 CBC Music Festival alongside Coeur de pirate, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Charlotte Cardin, Exco Levi

South Sudanese-Canadian artist, actor, former child soldier, and political activist, Emmanuel Jal has been revealed on the lineup for the 2019 edition of CBC Music Festival.

CBC Music Festival is returning for its seventh year, and Toronto indie-pop act Alvvays will be headlining the event’s main stage. Emmanuel Jal will be performing on the q stage will with the Courtneys, Peach Pit, Hubert Lenoir, and 2019 Searchlight winner Shopé.

The Juno 365 stage will have 2019 Juno Award nominees Elisapie, Nuela Charles, Laila Biali, Samantha Martin & Delta Sugar.

General admission is $39.50 plus fees, and children under the age of 12 can get in free.
