When I was 10 years I was a refugee to this country. At 18 years old, I became a teen mom. At 20 I became a single mom, today at 28 I became the city councillor for Ward 13 in the municipality of London ON. The first black woman to be elected in this city. Your dreams are valid, you are valid. Don’t give up. Excited & humbled to represent & serve this community to the best of my ability. It takes a village, be my village! . . . . . . . . . . . #canadaslondon #ldnont #londonontario #downtownlondon #downtownlondonontario
